This morning Jimmy cooked pancakes for me. That was nice of him.

At work my drawer broke $1000, we were that busy. It was pretty kewl. I saw Vikrum at Mrs. Field’s, and he got me some cookies. Working with Dustin is awesome; he’s a tight guy. Except we felt betrayed by Breelee and Leelee since we didn’t get to see a movie with them! Grrr!! Eh, I’m kidding. They owe us both though, just because I said so.

And after work, Sarah the manager asked me all sorts of questions about my college and how I like it. I hope I didn’t pass off as a snob…I wonder if she even had college? It’s hard to tell at work; such a different ballpark than academia. I still have trouble fathoming what different atmospheres the workforce and academic world are.

I hope things are okay with Mandy!

Eh, not much more to report. Grant and I took a walk earlier, that was exciting.

I was supposed to have jury duty tomorrow but it got postponed, so I get a free day off! Whoohoo! I think I’m just going to blow it off for the day it was meant to be–I mean, there’s not much point to asking for a day off just to wait in line.
