Blah….that was the longest abstract algebra homework set, EVER. We’re all going to complain, ’cause we didn’t enjoy it. See, I don’t mind doing long homework sets when I’m having fun with it. But we had one problem where we had to find an isomorphism between two groups with 9 elements in it each, meaning we had to write out multiplication tables for both groups, show they’re isomorphic, and say yay we win. Furthermore, for one of the said groups, we had to prove it was also a group to begin with and abelian. AND that was all _part_ of a four-part problem. Can you say tedious, not to mention long? And I’m not even going to tell you what it was like to do that for 15 other problems like that. My hand hurts. Like I said, I’m fine with long homework sets (take analysis last semester). But I’m only fine with it when they’re FUN. That kind of stuff is not fun.

Oh, well, it’s like Priya said a few nights ago….you know your semester is not complete unless you’ve found one class you dislike.
