October 29, 2002 on 2:57 am | In Blogger |So, my day went something like this:
10:30awoke up. Read Xenocide in bed until the alarm went off.
11:45aLeft for math with Camille. Professor Chaderjian reviewed with us for our math exam that will happen on Wednesday. I still feel screwed.
12:50-1:15pLunch. Another Monday, another lunch consisting of mac and cheese, an eggplant parmesian sandwhich, salad, and some Coke.
1:15p-4:30pRead for Core and Writing 50. I had something like 150 pages of reading to do (no exaggerations!)
4:30-5:30pWorked on the annotated bibliography for Writing 50. I hope I did everything right, because you don’t get credit if you didn’t do more than two things right for each citation.
5:30-6:30pDinner with Camille, Becca, and Mandy. Sarra and Katie were at dance.
6:30-8pFinished my Writing 50 (the annotated bibliography and an essay).
8p-9:06pthe voice! Eh, at least I got paid for that one…
9:07-11pWorked on Art 141.
11-11:15p: Took a study break with Mandy to go to the Motley.
11:15p-2aFinished Art 141. Realized I did at least 10 hours of homework straight tonight.
Welcome to college.
Oh well, I’m doing what I want to do, and I got a lot of satisfaction tonight in knowing I got it done when I thought I was attempting the impossible.
When I hear a classical music piece, I hear stories in my head. I see stories of princesses falling in love with peddlers who turn out to be far away princes. I see dragons beckoning us to fly with them. I see a maidon lamenting for her soldier fiance who is overseas. I see angry kings battling with their enemies from far away lands. I see happiness, and I see sadness. I see love, and I see hatred. I see war, and I see peace. I see…music. I see art~
